Our Prayers for Claire de Miribel
Éric Bellefeuille
Posted 2008-09-29 14:50:28

Many are those in L'Arche who know Claire de Miribel, who lives in L'Arche Cuise in France, either because they went in that community and had the chance to know her, or because Claire was international coordinator and so involved in L'Arche's development. Claire has been living with cancer for months and we just received news from her through Zizi Pascal. Here is what she is sharing:

"A few words to tell you Claire is in terminal phase and asks you to pray for her, and for all those close to her. I saw her this week, she doesn't say it but she suffers a lot, she doesn't eat anymore, she can hardly stand up and sit, sees less and less. But she remains Claire... it's hard to believe she's slipping away."

We're all united to carry her in our thoughts and prayers.
