L'Arche Canada
Posted 2010-06-03 16:03:05

Monday,May 31st, L’Arche Canada launches a new on-line resource called “Aging and Disability” that addresses key issues for people who are aging with intellectual disabilities and those who support them.

It will provide L’Arche members, the general public, caregivers, families and health practitioners with wisdom, best practices and practical tools, developed in L’Arche, as well as other available resources, on the subjects of healthy aging, changing needs, complex and palliative care, ending life well, and grieving. Soft Launch and Feedback

The soft launch will last until June 14th at which time it will be launched publicly. We very much need your input  (Comments and suggestions) before going public so please respond before this date to the survey on the site in order to give your feedback. It would be particularly important to ask your health care coordinators (if you have one), formation coordinators and any other person able to give pertinent feedback to respond to the survey.

And, don't forget to watch the wonderful videos

Cathy Dansereau, Project Manager

This website was made possible, in part, by funding from the Royal Bank of Canada. We are grateful for their partnership.
