L’Arche Lethbridge is a vibrant and close-knit L’Arche community in the prairie city of Lethbridge, Alberta. We are comprised of three homes and an active group of community friends who join us for our weekly prayer nights and monthly potlucks. The combined role of Respite (Relief) Coordinator and Community Life Coordinator is a new role in L’Arche Lethbridge. The RC/CLC will be a support to the Assistants Coordinator with special responsibilities in the area of recruitment, selection and screening of Respite (Relief) and Overnight Workers. S/he will be responsible for overseeing their orientation, ongoing training, compensation and review processes as well as employee-related policies including compliance with Alberta Employment Standards.  Responsibilities in the area of Community Life will include overseeing the Spiritual Life Committee and the planning and coordination of community events. The RC/CLC will be a member of the Public Relations and Recruitment Committees (responsible for local recruitment efforts) and the Leadership Team.

This is a full-time role which may also include some time spent in direct support of Core Members in the homes of L’Arche Lethbridge.
