The mission of the person hired for this role is threefold:

1. To develop a pro-active search for funds with major international donors (individualscompanies- international foundations) in order help meet the financial needs generated by the development of L’Arche International’s various missions and activities.

2. To develop a close relationship with directors of national foundations (Canada, USA, UK, and Germany) and the planned International foundation in Switzerland, as well as those who carry responsibility for fund-raising in other countries on behalf of L’Arche, and to create common initiatives, share best practices, and increase global efficiency in raising funds in different countries.

3. To communicate L’Arche’s vision concerning people with intellectual disabilities, its spirituality and ethics.
