Among the gifts of L’Arche is our life as a federation of communities that stretches around the globe. What a joy to know that we have friends committed to a similar journey through a multitude of languages and cultures!

But how does this far-flung collection of communities affect our understanding of relationships as the central focus of our lives together? How does our connection to a community in India or Honduras or the Philippines inform the way in which we announce L’Arche to new audiences in the United States? How do we position that gift in the in the midst of our own daily challenges of sustenance, management and responsibilities?
