A New Website for L'Arche USA
Joan Mahler
Posted 2008-03-19 08:40:35

Dear Members of our International Family,

I wanted to share with you this announcement of our new L’Arche USA website. As many of you know from your own experience, projects like this are a tremendous undertaking.

We are grateful for the leadership of Anna Davis-Hutto, our Director of Development and Communications, for shepherding this effort. Our hope is that a new and lively website will help us announce to new audiences the mission of L’Arche and the gifts of people with disabilities -- not just within the United States, but around the world.

Peace and blessings to you all in this holy time,

Joan Mahler

Since March 19th, the revised L’Arche USA website is available online!

Please visit www.larcheusa.org

The new website has several elements worth noticing:

Mailing List

Individuals can be directly added to the L’Arche USA mailing list through this link. Simply fill out and submit the form online to receiving mailings (including publications) from L’Arche.

L’Arche Publications
We are posting recent L’Arche publications online: L’Arche USA’s “HOPE•SIGNS” newsletter, L’Arche International’s magazine, “Letters of L’Arche,” and Jean Vanier’s most recent letters.

Communities

Each of L’Arche USA’s 16 communities has a webpage that includes information about the community, a photograph, and contact details. A wonderful overview of the breadth and depth of the vital life-giving work of these communities, these pages will be updated periodically with community news.

We are grateful for your friendship and support of L’Arche USA, and always look forward to hearing from you!

The L’Arche USA office is officially up and running!
