1,000 Miles for L'Arche Ireland
Anne McKeon
Posted 2012-02-02 13:28:30

I want to Celebrate Life by walking 1,000 miles for L'Arche over the next year. I hope to raise €10,000 over the next year. If just 1,000 people gave me €10 each I would reach my target. I have chosen to walk the miles for L’Arche Ireland starting on Feb. 1st - St. Brigids day - It is also 'Imbholg' the first day of the Celtic New Year. 'Imbholg' is the festival of hope, possibility and expectation.

Hello there,

Following a car accident last Oct. which could have killed me or left me badly injured - I am all the more grateful for life and for just being able to get up and walk.

So I'd like to give something back to life and I have chosen to walk the miles for L’Arche Ireland.

I would very much appreciate your support in helping me to raise funds for L'Arche.

I hope to raise €10,000 over the next year. If just 1,000 people gave me €10 each I would reach my target. But I will accept any donation no matter how big or small.

You can donate using the "sponsor me now" button. You can be assured that your transaction on the mycharity.ie website is very secure. You will automatically receive an e-mail from me thanking you for your support, and acknowledging the amount of your donation.

By the way - I don't know 1,000 people so please send my link on to your friends and ask them on my behalf to support my efforts.

I'll keep you up-to-date throughout the year with regards to the miles I am clocking up.

Peace to you.

Anne
