In speaking with Susan, we are convinced that she has the leadership experience and abilities that we were searching for. In addition, she has a deep love for L’Arche and its members with over 20 years of relationship having carried the responsibility of Board member and president as well as being a friend to many. Susan is comfortable with ministry and administrative responsibilities, and also has participated in L’Arche gatherings at every level. It was clear that for Susan, our invitation to consider this role, while not in her plan, was a call to use her gifts for the good of the community.
We will have an opportunity as a region on March 31 to say thanks to Noreen and bless her as she moves into her new calling as retiree, full-time wife and grandma, and faithful friend and member of her community.
