L'Arche Sudbury is seeking an Office Administrator

The Office administrator will function primarily to support the Leadership Team and Board of Directors in the maintenance and development of the administrative systems to fulfill the vision and mission of L’Arche Sudbury.  The Office Administrator will be responsible for the day to day functioning and communications of the L’Arche Sudbury main office, internal and external communications, and fundraising activities.


The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • excellent organizational skills, time management and effective communication skills
  • attention to details in all written and verbal communication
  • the ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • creative problem solving, decision making skills and designing visual material
  • the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage change
  • proficiency in various computer applications such as: Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook) as well as social media platforms
  • Basic bookkeeping skills is an asset
  • ability to understand and adhere to L’Arche policies and procedures
  • desire to embrace the Identity and Mission and to engage  others by using the Servant Leadership Model
