In Loving Memory of Marvin Mazure


September 10, 1957 ~ February 16, 2010

 

Our dear friend Marvin passed away early Tuesday morning. The L'Arche Greater Vancouver community gathered later in the day to be together, share our stories about Marvin and sing. Marvin, who loved to sing, directed the choir from above.


Upon hearing the news about Marvin, Zoël Breau, former Zone Coordinator and confirmed member of the L’Arche Greater Vancouver community, sent the following message which was read as we gathered:


I give thanks that he was in our life and give thanks that you were with him to the end. I know that his joy and songs will be appreciated in heaven.

Marvin did not have an easy life and at the same time with us he had was able to live a full life and grow to be a wonderful man. He will be remembered and missed by many people. God bless him.                                                                                            Zoël

Services for Marvin will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 5251 Joyce St. Vancouver. BC
