Honouring Dr. John Sumarah

Friends and colleagues of Dr. John Sumarah have organized a Symposium to celebrate and to honour him on the occasion of his retirement from Acadia University. The event, entitled "Being Human: Symposium Honouring John Sumarah" was planned, in part, as a novel way to recognize John's thirty years with Acadia’s Counselling program and will take place on June 24 - 25, 2011, at Acadia University.

All proceeds and donations gathered at the event will go to support L'Arche Homefires in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

Anyone who would like to send John their best wishes and congratulations may do so by emailing larcheatlantic@eastlink.ca.
