Farewell Bernard Dalbec
Eric Bellefeuille
Posted 2009-02-06 16:24:09

On Thursday night, January 29th, Bernard Dalbec, member of the Board of the Quebec Arches Foundation, passed away. Bernard was well known by L'Arche members in Quebec. Having been involved in the Foundation for ten years, he remained active until the very end and carried L'Arche in his heart throughout the years.

Touched by the message of Jean Vanier, by the the core members, by the community life and by L'Arche spirituality, he actively contributed in creating and developing the Foundation. Last fall, as the disease was striking back, he asked us to pray for him, convinced that our prayers would bring him courage and hope.

Bernard Dalbec is the founder of the international company Solareh, a firm specializing in promoting health and in psychosocial intervention in the workplace.

The family will receive condolences in the Urgel Bourgie funeral parlour: 3955 chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse in Ville-Saint-Laurent.
Schedule:
Wednesday February 4th and Thursday 5th from 2h00pm to 5h00pm and from 7h00pm to 10h00pm.
Friday the 6th from 9h00am to 10h30am.

The funeral will take place on Friday February 6th at 11h00am at 805, Ste-Croix Boulevard in Ville Saint-Laurent.
