Darryl was a founding member of our home Annapurna and has shared life with us for the last 20 years. We will remember him for his great loves - being in the water, ice cream and cake, and his infectious laughter and sparkling blue eyes.
Darryl taught us about enjoying life and living it to the full. This he did even in these last months at hospice. When he slept, he slept peacefully, and when he was awake and able he ate full meals and enjoyed his chocolate puddings and an occasional bath. We are grateful for his gifts of presence and joy. He will be deeply missed.
We will remember and celebrate Darryl’s life on Wednesday evening, June 23 at 8 pm for Prayers and Thursday afternoon, June 24 at 2 pm for a Funeral Mass, both at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 5340 - 4 Street S.W., Calgary.
Darryl had many friends and is loved dearly. Thank you to each one who has been a part of his life. Please pray with us and for us in gratitude for the gift of Darryl and for this time of grief and transition. You are also in our prayers.
With love,
